Information Sharing ^_^

Assalamualaikum to all of you...

Today I would like to share something  about "Healthy Food". I've read the article entitled "Healthy Food Are Actually Cheaper than Popular Manufactured Food" written by Mike Adams  from  "http://www.naturalnews.com/009303.html".

I strongly agree to this article  because most of us know the fact that manufactured food such as KFC and McDonald is more expensive comparing to the 1 bottle of vitamins.  This is true right?
Nowadays, people  think that they  couldn’t afford  to have healthy foods but they  can buy the touch screen mobile phone.   Most of them also prefer to buy instant food to save their money without concerning about the affect of that non-healthy food.

In addition, people  do not care about what the nutrition that is needed for their body. Sometimes the way of life is also different and it influences us to buy food according to our  lifestyle.   I also found that majority of the people who love to buy manufactured food as their meal are students or workers. This is because manufactured food is easier to eat so they can save their time to do something else like works, assignments and others.

Furthermore, people also like to buy  food which has been advertised on the television or newspaper.
People should  take a look at the ingredients label before buy something. Please avoid food which have food additive such as MSG (Monosodium Gultamate) because it is dangerous to us like can cause cancer and so on.

How to get healthy body? There  are some tips that I want to share to all of you.
Firstly, we  should eat nuts, fruits and vegetables everyday. It will help us being more healthy and fresh. Actually I don't really like to eat vegetables, and I am also avoid to eat vegetables because it is bitter.  But starting from now, I want to try to eat it. Let us try !!  The second tip is we should be hardworking to cook at home, so we can make our food healthy. When we want to eat, we can add some fruits and vegetables in our meal.

Here is  another tips that  I want to share :

- Make careful menu selections – pay attention to the descriptions on the menu. Dishes  labelled deep-fried, pan-fried, basted, batter-dipped, breaded, creamy, crispy, scalloped, Alfredo, au gratin, or in cream sauce are usually high in calories, unhealthy fats, or sodium. Order items with more vegetables and choose leaner meats.

-Drink water with your meal. Soda is a huge source of hidden calories. One 32-oz Big Gulp of regular cola packs about 425 calories, which can quickly gulp up a big portion of your daily calorie intake. Try adding a little lemon to your water or ordering unsweetened iced tea.

-"Undress” your food. When choosing items, be aware of calorie- and fat-packed salad dressings, spreads, cheese, sour cream, etc. For example, ask for a grilled chicken sandwich without the mayonnaise. You can ask for a packet of ketchup or mustard and add it yourself, controlling how much you put on your sandwich.

- Special order. Many menu items would be healthy if it weren't for the way they were prepared. Ask for your vegetables and main dishes to be served without the sauces. Ask for olive oil and vinegar for your salads or order the dressing "on the side" and spoon only a small amount on at a time. If your food is fried or cooked in oil or butter, ask to have it broiled or steamed.

- Eat mindfully. Pay attention to what you eat and savour each bite. Chew your food more thoroughly and avoid eating on the run. Being mindful also means stopping before you are full. It takes time for your body to register that you have eaten. Mindful eating relaxes you, so you digest better, and makes you feel more satisfied.

Last but not least, I want to suggest that we should care about our meal everyday, eat what our body  need, eat on time and avoid eating the  unhealthy food.
That’s all from me, thank you. ^_^
